Become part of the creation of the Association of Women in Mathematics (AWM) organization at Texas State University! We are a small group of students (male and female, math major and other STEM majors) who are hoping to network with each other and participate in fun events throughout the semester together! This organization is relatively new so it can be whatever YOU want it to be. 

AWM student chapters aim to:

• Encourage women and girls to study and to have active careers in the mathematical sciences
• Promote equal opportunity and the equal treatment of women and girls in the mathematical sciences
• Form networks with like-minded individuals
