Pi Mu Epsilon is an Honorary National Mathematics Society that was founded at Syracuse University in 1914.  Texas Rho is the Texas State University chapter of Pi Mu Epsilon that was established in 2002 under Dr. David Snyder’s leadership as one of 20 chapters in Texas and among 378 chapters nationally. The purpose of Pi Mu Epsilon is to promote and recognize scholarly activity in mathematics among students and faculty in academic institutions. For more information visit https://pmetexasrho.wp.txstate.edu/pi-mu-epsilon/.
